For pdfFiller’s FAQs

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
When using paragraph text, the Justify option is available within the Paragraph window as seen below. To access the Paragraph window, go to Window > Type > Paragraph and while your text is selected, click the Justify all lines option.
Fully justified text produces neat, vertical margins that create the sense of a line on each side of the document. Justified text tends to look formal and serious, and that's why professionally printed documents are often fully justified. For example, nearly all books use justified text.
text-align: justify shouldn't be used in browsers at the moment. They aren't good at handling the minute details within and the output ends up containing lots of rivers and there's no support for hyphenation (other than soft hyphens).
Justified text is spaced so the left and right sides of the text block both have a clean edge. The usual alternative to justified text is left-aligned text, which has a straight left edge and an uneven right edge. Compared to left-aligned text, justification gives text a cleaner, more formal look.
Justifying text and text alignment describe the way lines appear on a page and the writer/designers control over that appearance. Tradition dictates that lines are aligned flush left, or even with the left margin. Full justification is where text is even or straight with both margins, but it is not a perfect process.
Typeset books use Justice text. Justified text looks nicer. Readers are used to reading Justice text, so justied text is easier to read. Text is always Justice by increasing white space between words, never between letters within words.
justified text is aligned along the left margin, and letter- and word-spacing is adjusted so that the text falls flush with both margins, also known as fully justified or full justification; centered text is aligned to neither the left nor right margin; there is an even gap on each side of each line.
Left-aligned text is text that is aligned with a left edge. Right-aligned text is text that is aligned with a right edge. Centered text is text that is centered between two edges.
justified text is aligned along the left margin, and letter- and word-spacing is adjusted so that the text falls flush with both margins, also known as fully justified or full justification; centered text is aligned to neither the left nor right margin; there is an even gap on each side of each line.
Justifying text can mean different things, but here we consider “justification on both sides", or "double justification”, where text lines are justified both on the left and on the right.
Justified text is spaced so the left and right sides of the text block both have a straight edge. Compared to left-aligned text, justification gives text a cleaner, more formal look. Justification works by adding white space between the words in each line so all the lines are the same length.
Left align, left alignment, or left justify is text or page formatting that aligns text along the left side of a page or containing element. This text has a ragged right edge because it is left-aligned instead of being right aligned. Other languages that read right to left have right-aligned text.
Left justified, also known as left-aligned, is when all the text lines up with the left margin excluding formatting like tabs, indents, etc. There is also center-aligned, right-aligned and full justify. Full justification is when the text is spaced evenly and is flush against both the left and right margins.
